Separate sealed bids for the project will be received, publicly opened, & read in Darlington at 400 Pearl St., Darlington, SC at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, January 9, 2024.聽 The scope of work includes a new Lift Station, piping, controls, 859 lf of 4鈥� force main, 2 new manholes, 504 lf of 6鈥� directional drill, 118 lf of 8鈥� gravity sewer, and remove 430 lf of 8鈥� D.I. sewer pipe.
The information for Bidders, Bid Form, Contract Plans, Specifications, 5% Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be viewed at the office of the engineer, Davis & Brown, 124 West McIver Rd., Florence, SC聽 29501.

This project is being funded in whole or in part by the South Carolina Infrastructure Investment Program (SCIIP), which is administered by the South Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) and funded by federal State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).聽 All federal SLFRF requirements and SCIIP requirements will apply to the contract. All contractors and subcontractors are required to be registered in the federal System for Award Management (SAM) and not be debarred from doing business with the federal government.聽 Respondents on this work will be required to comply with all applicable federal regulations.聽 The plans & specs are available for review at the engineer鈥檚 office.
The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities, or to reject any or all bids. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening. Estimated cost is $500,000.聽 Bid, Performance, & Payment bonds are required. Contractor classification of 鈥淲L鈥� required.
